It's Friday afternoon and there is a buzz around Olin Hall. People have been acting mysteriously and JJ Marshall has been sneaking around for the past week with a video recorder in his hand. Have we entered the twilight zone? No, it's just spring Buffoonery.

Our Mission Most adults wouldn't give teenagers the car keys, much less trust them to create and run their own businesses. But that's just what an innovative Massachusetts non-profit organization is doing. The Young Entrepreneurs Alliance works in Boston-area schools to help teens learn how to become business professionals.

St. Petersburg In The Spring

Over Spring Break, 34 students took a trip to St. Petersburg. This however, was not your typical journey to the sunshine state. Instead, these adventurous students flew northeast to St. Petersburg, Russia to take part in an international elective. Over the course of ten days, we studied the transition Russia has and continues to go through.

Discovering Brazil

As we hustled round a small table in a crowded coffee shop in Logan airport, my mind began to speculate as to what the week had in store. Could we really get to know Brazil (a country of 160 million people and a host of cultures) in just seven days? What would the people and the terrain be like? Was it really as dangerous as some of the stories we had heard?

As we touched down in Sao Paulo, the excitement started to brew and I knew that the next seven days would be filled with the spirit of adventure.

A Sox Fan: Entering Uncharted Territory

Just to clarify...the Red Sox are the defending World Champions. Feels good writing it. Feels even better saying it. Feels amazing screaming it at my friends who are obnoxious Yankees fans.

The reality is that for us long suffering Sox fans, we're about to embark on a journey unlike any we've taken - unless you happen to be as old as Dan Hack and remember the last time the Sox were defending World Champions in 1919 (sorry Hack, that was a low blow).
